In order to enjoy this story even more, I just assume that, instead of freeing him, the prison just forced him to wait until he lost enough weight to squeeze out like when Winnie the Pooh got stuck in Rabbit's house.

there apears to be a (little) something peeking out there, right by the wall hole... i'm not sure, but looks like maybe his whole belly couldn't fit thru the wall, but that 'little guy' managed to escape....?
