When I had my 40 lb. tumor/cyst removed, the surgeon cut right through my belly button. Now my belly button is very different. I wonder what's going on with the bacteria down there now. Has it evolved and adapted? Was it all killed during the surgery? If so, has any come back? And where did it come from? So many questions.
