What kind of beer was involved ? Leinenkuegel I could see....Schlitz no. Do they still make Schlitz ?

Yes, LeDud, they do ... altho the "original brewery/recipe" wuz bought up long ago by ... um ... Stroh's, IIRC ... and the "new" Schlitz is not the same ... reminiscent of the "old" ... but with less character and other attributes ...
Which, sadly enuf, is true for many of us "old" folks ...
