And when Skynet becomes self-aware, the Robosquirrels will drive humanity underground...

This is actually critically important research. If we can get the rattlesnakes and squirrels to kill each other off, then we might just be able to win the war on both of them.

I'm holding out for RoboPython 2.0 that can create cyborg snakes for the Everglades. What could possibly go wrong?

Rattlesnake gets hungry. Goes looking.
Finds squirrel that tries to distract snake with flashing tail. This works some of the time, but not when the snake sees more heat from the body than the tail.
Sometimes the snake wins; sometimes the squirrel.
Now, WHERE'S MAH MONEY??!!

Now, let's see, Sen. Coborn -- if we have a trillion dollar deficit and we can get rid of, say, a billion dollars a year in waste, how many years will it be before we're back in the black, again? And in how many previous fiscal years did you and your colleagues meet that annual reduction goal? Ah, I see. Thank you.

Dan, you've got it wrong about robosquirrels.
Skynet hates squirrels almost as much as humans, always chewing on power-lines and sabotaging transformers. When Skynet becomes active robosquirrels will be used to infiltrate their underground bunkers and exterminate them, so it's not an all bad thing for Skynet to become self-aware.

I, for one, welcome the our Skynet overlords

I know I could really use a robotic squirrel, but I'll have to wait at 325-large. I'm sure the price will come down as they become more popular.
