HE HAS HIS REASONS
Cornman continues to patrol Tokyo's Yamanote Line, but why?
The first known photo was tweeted back in May and showed a seemingly normal fellow towing what appeared to be a single unhusked ear of corn attached by a bright red dog leash heading towards the station exit.
(Thanks to Joe in Japan)

The doctor told him the best cure for his corns was daily walk, and something got lost in translation?

Why has this man been seen with his ear of corn on leash in the subways? He doesn't own a car, taxis are too expensive and it is too far to walk.
Next question.

If it's a cat, it's a Cornish; if it's a dog, it's a Puli.

Can't believe this didn't take place in Miami.

In Miami he would be dragging a real ear.

We'll be keeping our ear to the ground for more updates!

Oddly enough, I read that in William Shatner's voice.

Having ridden it many times, I've always wondered about "Yamanote" ("Mountain's Hand"?!?). Since it's the circular line around the heart of Tokyo, basically a train beltway, a nut could get on and never get off till he gets hungry and eats the corn, I guess.
