Jeff Foxworthy should use this one.
"If you burn down your apartment complex while trying to singe the fur off a squirrel so you can eat it--you might be a redneck."

I accidentally ate squirrel once at my family reunion in Georgia. It was okay until my cousin told me what it was. As far as I know no propane torches were involved and the homestead is still standing.

According to information gleaned frum one who has seen it happen, this is a sumwhut more high-tech procedure used by a group of immigrants whenever they manage to find one of the few remaining fauna as they forage in state parks and suburban neighborhoods ... really ... IANMTU ... (location & ethnic background omitted to preserve a semblance of impartiality) ...

I once read a recipe for possum that started with "Remove head if desired."
"If desired . . .?!!!"
Nah. I prefer my varmints head-on.

Erstwhile chef is now living in a tree and his nuts are in a crack.

I take back what I said above in this thread.
The average redneck would probably know how to skin a squirrel.
