Along with the Brady Foundation's activities in the realm of gun ownership, they have a lesser-known group that seeks to ban private ownership of chainsaws. It's called the Nugent Foundation, after the performer whose head was chainsawed off by an outraged music lover in 1987. Nugent recovered and is still performing today, a fact which somewhat hampers the Foundation's fund-raising efforts.
