"The Siphonaptera"

Big fleas have little fleas,
Upon their backs to bite 'em,
And little fleas have lesser fleas,
and so, ad infinitum.
And the great fleas, themselves, in turn
Have greater fleas to go on;
While these again have greater still,
And greater still, and so on.

Existential oversight.

Trippy, very, very trippy.

so have you found one of these cameras and like stood in the middle of the frame and dropped trou and had a friend like run the red light with his tags covered so the camera gets a picture of you mooning it?

me neither.

"Police call it a matter of public safety, not an attempt to generate profit."

Yeah. Right.

I don't think that people should take pictures today of anyone unless they don't mind. Too many cameras where someone can take pictures and put up on youtube. I think that people should be ticketed or sued for that.

But who watches the cameras that watch the cameras that watch us ?

So now that everyone knows, the vandals will vandalize the surveillance camera BEFORE they vandalize the red light camera, thus being guilty of twice as many crimes, but they don't care because they won't be caught because there is no camera watching them and the police are too busy installing cameras to monitor the community instead of monitoring the community themselves, so crime rates will increase and the police will hire more officers to install more cameras to catch doubly guilty vandals and...

I just can't picture it.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

I have it figured that Montgomery County MD has to have the most cowed residents in the country. MoCo just keeps milking them and they keep returning the thieves to office. That's some serious cultural guilt. They've gone crazy in the last year to make up their budget losses. In one stretch of CT Ave they have 2 speed cameras, within one block, on each side of the road. And you can bet they will end up with cameras to watch the cameras that are watching the speed cameras.
