It was so important he said it twice.

In some parts of the country, greeting reporters and law enforcement investigators with water splashing is considered to be a great sign of respect.

NMUA, in my part of the country they'd be glad it was only water.

In your part of the country, greeting police and reporters with beer is customary. Not so much when being pulled over in your car by the police.

Was he giving an watered-down report or something?

There's that phrase again: " a checkered history "... When are we going to leave poor Nixon's dog alone ?

If I was stuck in the house with a stupid husband and five small kids and a reporter was banging on my front door,even though I had asked him not to, I'd throw water on him too. Either that or I'd grab him around the neck and beg him to take me away.

Assualt and spattery.


Rep. Rivera looks like Mr. Bean's crooked cousin. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
