On the other hand, expanding the tax base to include live performances might be just the ticket. Pretty soon there would be off-sticker ballet performances. As long as youth soccer and youth baseball aren't taxed, I'm fine with it.

If they start making lap dances tax exempt then the girls are going to lose their tax deduction for their, um, improvements. In my humble opinion that might be the most important tax deduction on the books today.

I wanted to say that the argument is ridiculous, but if wildly throwing feces everywhere can be considered "performance art", then isn't everything? Particularly my job. I take great pride in my work. And isn't science God's art? I should claim a tax deduction. \\
