Do two constitute a flock? And besides, is that what you call a group of spiders? They're carniverous, so maybe it's a pack, not a herd. How about a spackle? A spackle of spiders.

JSG, a group of spiders is called a clutter, or a cluster. I'll go with cluster. Because I hate spiders, and I've never heard of a clutter YKW.
