Doppel betrunken Hundeherausforderung?

Is Drunk Germans redundant?

I actually witnessed this sort of thing, a few years back. One of our downtown streets is essentially solid outdoor dining in the summer, and it was packed with diners when a woman drove up in a huge SUV and spend 15 minutes cramming it into a parking space. When she finally finished, the whole block broke into applause.

I parked a 15 passenger van on the first try and received applause from the cop standing there. When I asked if applause meant I could park for free, he showed me his ticket book.

When I was sixteen, I got my first good lesson about being drunk and driving.
I had been to a cast party for a play and had had WAY TOO MUCH BEER.
I got into my VW bug to pull out. I worked on it for about 10 minutes, making no progress. This was much to the amusement of my co-workers on the sidewalk.
Finally, one had mercy on me. He leaned in the window and said, quote, "Steve, you gotta turn the steering wheel."

Drunks will cheer for almost anything.

If they were real gentlemen(yes, I realize they are Germans) they would have picked up the car and set it in place for her.
