Mangos were a good choice. If they're green, it's like a hail of cannonballs. And if they're ripe, fleeing perps would slip and fall in the dreaded Mango Poop Dave warned us about so many years ago.

I have found that the sound of a round being loaded into a barrel of a shotgun works almost as well as mangos.

MikeyVA I've not only heard the sound before, I've loaded a few myself however, I've never shot at anything other than a target. Some people have pictures of their dear departed grandpas on their mantles. In the south we have grandpa's favorite rabbit gun propped up next to the fireplace.
