I knew it! Cleaning is A Bad Thing.

What were they vacuuming up on a nuclear submarine? Cheetos crumbs?

Them things is dangerous. They scare my dog, too. I never go near 'em.

A vacuum cleaner?

Well, THAT sucks.

What has become of swabbing the decks?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMvTBmnzOio comes to mind.

Someone must have left a paperclip on the floor

She's gone from suck to blow.

wiredog, that's not nice to say about seamen.

Obviously, the Soviets are finally close to mastering the technology of the vacuum cleaner. The bastards.

Was it a nuclear vacuum cleaner ? That British Dyson guy probably sells one.

All nice and clean now, though!

I suppose a hatch to hatch salesman was giving a demo.

When that peanut butter sandwich
Goes crashing to the floor,
And gets smooshed into the carpeting
By the brat who lives next door.
Don't grab your broom and dustpan,
Or that old Elextrolux.
Just use your Hoover vacuum,
Cuz' Hoover really sucks.

I'm confused by the cruise ship in the 3rd photo. I had no idea cruiseships of that size docked at the Portmouth Naval Shipyard. It must have been rubbernecking.

The price of the ship would have only been 200 million without the toilet seats.
