WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

For entertainment, a girls' school brings in a "hypnotist-in-training."

Huh, so he just got them to sit quietly? I kind of assumed before I clicked on the article that he told them to strip. But getting teenage girls to sit quietly? He's going to have tons of repeat business among parents.

This could become a more gentle, relaxing, reality show. Your mind becomes numb....oh wait, thats been done before on TV.

I don't believe a word of this ... it sounds as though it was deliberately written to make News of the Weird, etc.

Omni - I actually had this happen to me once, when I sat in the back row of a hypnotist show at my local comedy club. I went out like a light, and ended up being brought on stage as the "control group" (yeah, right!). All I remember was...everything! When they woke me up at the end of the show, the performer asked me if I wanted to remember the act. Today, 30+ years later, I not only remember the show, I remember every word said on stage. I can't remember Mrs. PirateBoy's birthday, but I remember "freezing to death" with a cute girl named Donna on stage. The closer we got to each other, the warmer we were told to feel :)

So this young, attractive hypnosis trainee had a Justin Beeber effect on an assembly of 12- and 13-year-old girls.... Who'da ever thunk it?!
