THIS CANNOT END WELL

Flathead Valley Community College has a gunsmithing program.

Actually that could be interesting.

Along with gunsmithing, the only other higher education they need up there are courses in "First Aid for Gun Wounds" and "Alcohol Rehabilitation Techniques." Maybe one on Taxidermy.

Hope the campus isn't a "gun-free school zone," like my local community college. Might make teaching the course a bit difficult, otherwise...

;)

With all the rampant crime going on up there one can only imagine the level of carnage this will lead to. Shudder to think of a dog sleeping in someone's yard with a gun.

Well, their "brochure" listing is a bit misleading ... sez $300 for 40 hours of class time ... HOWever ... the dates for the length of the class would indicate that there 108 hours of class time (despite the disclaimer of "convenient week-long format) ... THEREfore ... they's robbin' the student without usin' a gun ... or their math skills are sadly in need of remedial classes ...

I sorta doubt I'd want sumbuddy whose ability to calculate properly is of such low caliber to werk on my firearms ...

The final exam may have students match Clint Eastwood lines with the movie:

1. "Go Ahead make my day" A. BRIDGES OF MADISON
2. "Did I fire 5 or 6 shots?" B. MILLION DOLLAR BABY
3. "Me, Mr Smith and Mr. Wesson" C. EVERY WHICH WAY..

What's misleading is the visual suggestion that with one class under your belt, you'll even be allowed to touch a shotgun like the one pictured, let alone work on it.

And Lazeeboy, "Shudder to think of a dog sleeping in someone's yard with a gun."? Who has the gun in your scenario: the dog, the yard, or the homeowner? Most of the dogs up there seem to have guns, as I interpret the 911 calls.
