What was the ticket for? Littering?

Something like that, cindy. I'm surprised this happened in London and not New Bloomberg City.

Well, he *was* in the MBA program. However, I suspect his career just blew up...

I was ticketed and towed at the University of Kentucky.
The officers had come along AFTER I parked and fed the meter, put a "no parking" bag over the meter, then towed my car. All with paid time left on the meter.
The Judge had no sympathy. He said I "should have known" that this would happen.
I believe he works in London, now.

Do not, whatever you do, park in North Carolina.

Parking meters in Nodak are illegal ... (except in privately owned parking lots) ... merely sayin' ... about 60 years ago, a rural person wuz irked that he got a ticket when he'd parked, fed the meter, and wuz later cited for a violation ... he'd gone to the "big" town to spend money ...

He started a referendum (initiative?) petition, and the voters had their say ... no more parking meters in Nodak!

HOWever, there are other ways that they get yer money ... if y'all plan to visit, call me, and I'll offer sum advice on how to avoid such traps ...

For a small fee, of course ...

Are we sure it wasn't the fashion police that blew his car up for walking around London dressed like he was going hiking in the Alps? Yodelaheehoe!

His fuzzy dice survived. Snake eyes, sorry.

Why call a tow truck when you can blow it up instead?

And Jeff, don't give his honor any ideas.

I think the U.N. is o blame. Only Jack Bauer should be
allowed to blow up vehicles UNLESS a bomb or device that looks like a bomb is visible. Unfortunately,
"looks like a bomb" is rather subjective, and that Inidan car and some older Fords and Yugos might qualify.

So if I move to ND, I can put a parking meter on my lawn? GET OFF MY LAWN -- OR AT LEAST PAY TO BE THERE!

Flathead County could make a lot of new revenue with this if they could figure out a way to get dogs to put money in meters.

Werks fer us, Omni' ... tho I gotta admit that "enforcement" on a lot of issues tends to be a bit lax, especially in small towns ... of which there are many, in Nodak ...

If you're smart enough to be working on an MBA, you're probably smart enough to know that you should wait for the tow truck when your car breaks down.
Of course, if you were really clever, you'd not take a car into London anyway, let alone into the Congestion charge zone.
