Fair is fair. They give teacher's BS all of the time.

Already blogged. judi, your march right down to your office and fire you.

How dare Mr Language Person go on vacation in a time of grammatical usage crisis?

Thanks, Pad- first thought it was poo deja vous

May I suggest that the adults involved be required to stand up in front of the kids and their parents and explain exactly why they thought it was a good idea?
(One of my teachers used this method on the kids and it worked wonders).

Rabbits make chocolate covered raisins.

When I worked in the blood bank we had a crusty old head nurse. She couldn't take boneheads making the excuse that "everyone does it". Her response was always, "If I sh!+ in your hand would you eat it?". I never thought the answer might be yes.

Uh oh Judi -- I hope you know how to erase this blog before his Blogness sees it.

It's insensitive of me, I know, but how can a 13-year-old not tell the difference between chocolate and poop? And if you aren't sure, don't put it in your mouth.

Ah, leave Judi alone. Like another recent dupe post, this one merits repeating, if only since it gives me a chance to think of a jape I missed on the first go-round, namely something about "wipe that $hit-eating grin off your faces, kids ..."

I was thinking of a franchise reboot: The Three Feces of Eve...

missed opportunity, spammer:

'Wiseman said the school division should order the staff involved in the incident to take anti-bullWINKLEing training...'

LOL, mazar larry, at "poo deja vous". deja poo is more succinct. Calls to mind Catch-22. Heller could instead have discussed deja poo (poo before), presque poo (almost poo), and jamais poo (never poo).
