My younger sister, who actually works at Wally World, sent me a video called "People of Wal-Mart", set to the "I'm Sexy and I Know It" song. I am not going to post a link to it because I can't afford to buy the house a round of eye bleach.

However, if you have a legitimate scientific interest in the physical stress boundaries of Spandex, you may wish to Google up this video and cite it in your thesis.

And they even included the man's recipe; you just don't see that kind of attention to detail in reporting very much these days.

Just an ill-advised tie-in to the season premiere of Breaking Bad.

Boy the people on meth don't end up looking good do they ? Kind of like modern lepers.

I shop there once in awhile but you always seem to post strange things that happen at Walmart.

I guess meth is the only thing in Walmart that isn't made in China.

They left out a couple of ingredients.

Am I to conclude from the article that he stole ingredients to make "Shake & Bake"? Amd that it came out a meth?

I think Kraft has a lot to answer for. (And you know,
most places have pulled Shake & Bake.)

FM, you can still buy "Shake & Bake" - you just have to provide your driver's license and sign the register. And you're restricted to one purchase per month.

Wasn't there a woman who was accused of doing this recently? Maybe there should be a Meth Makers of Walmart dating service.

Ms. Flukey, yes. I even mentioned that when I sent this one in. They seem to steal the items, cook them up at Walmart (apparently the crack security team never notices), and then get caught.

By the way, here is the video pad referred to.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO..........

I live only a few blocks away from one of the top 10 most dangerous Wal-Marts in the United States. Last year, more than 80 people were robbed there.

Inside the Wal-Mart.

While they were shopping.

On the bright side, I can often get a really good parking spot, once the police tape comes down.

Someone want to remind me why I live here?

Slightly off-topic question: Is there ANYBODY here who has NOT had the door alarm at Wally World go off on them?
The one in B---- KY used to keep 2-liters of Pepsi by the door to give to people who had the alarm falsely accuse them.
But apparently, there wasn't enough Pepsi, because they quit.

Steve - I spent a lot of time once researching laws about this, and discovered that I was under no obligation to stop if that alarm goes off. Once you purchase an item, it belongs to you, so they either have to arrest you, or you can just keep walking. You also don't have to show them your receipt. I tell them "My receipt is just fine, thank you", and keep on going. Note that this does not apply to membership stores, like CostCo, where showing your receipt at the exit is a condition of membership.
