Wait for human testing. The study group drinks gila monster saliva. The control group drinks water but is told that it is gila monster saliva. I am guessing appetite drops in both groups.

Will, I think you're right - if I thought I had to consume Gila Monster drool before each meal, my appetite would vanish, too.

This is old news - the diabetes treatment drug Byetta is a syntesized version of Gila Monster saliva, and has been in use since April 2005. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byetta
