WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

A new pilot program in Georgia is giving kindergartners a say in whether or not their teachers will get pay raises or get fired.

Evaluation Day = Brownies at the Zoo Day!

I suspect the person who came up with idea knows a lot about kindergarten students, not doubt they spent 5 years as a kindergarten student.

Let it go up the ladder and let teachers decide if the person who thought up this idea and the group that approved get raises or get fired.
Fair play and all that.

yeah. 5 year olds would know. whhooo do i beat up for this idea?

What will they do with all the unemployed teachers and really obnoxious 5 year olds?

I think this is unfair. My sister's dog Rex wants to vote too.

Will they vote before their nap or after?

Since when not being able to read and write is a reason to deny a person the right to vote ? Says 'land of the free and home of the brave' and not 'country of literate voters'. Does it now ?

Time for all those teachers in GA to move to another state ... then these "administrators" will find out that the entire state will have an intelligence level equal to theirs ...

Send them to Washington!

O......M......G.....!!!

I am retiring JUST in time before I get fired!!

Anyway, I can't afford very many brownies.

And: Max and Hogs, hee hee. Wait, everybody gets 1,000 points!

Oops wait, I mean O.....M....."Intelligent Designer"!!

What are they gonna do? Fire me?

Now raises are in gold stars, silver stars and frowny face stickers.

Bonus side effect: Reinforces the typical five-year-old's conviction that he/she is responsible for everything that goes wrong in the immediate environment. Also known as the "Now See What You've Done" policy.

If you can shoot milk out your nose, you get a raise.

I know there are a couple more blotlits in the Tampa Bay area and I'm hoping to see you at the Poynter Institute in St. Pete on Wednesday night. It's a rare occasion when Dave deigns to cross to the west coast. I, personally, CAN'T WAIT. And Dave, if I don't get a photo op I will have to jump off the Skyway Bridge. Just sayin'.

Dave will be appearing with the Pointer Sisters? Great! Love the Pointer Sisters.

gThe Pointer Sisters are big in Flathead County, too.

,A resident called to say that two pointer sisters were singing in his driveway...,

Anybody remember the Roaches.

I agree with Betsy.
It strikes me that maybe we're looking at this the wrong way. Let's say some rugrat gives teach a bad review and the teacher loses her job.
Depending on the personality of the RR involved, he or she is either going to be loaded with an epic guilt trip (geezer term) or is going to get a god complex.
That's a lot of responsibility to load on a kid.
