Once again government jackasses prove that good sense and intelligence is more endangered than any animal.

Loudmouth, it's not often that you see the words "good sense" and "intelligence" in the same sentence with "government jackasses". I absolutely agree with you. Maybe they could replace the wolverine with a stuffed government jackass. Surely that's not an endangered species.

Wait. It's illegal to have a stuffed Salt-marsh harvest mouse? Excuse me, there's something I have to, um, relocate in my family room.

Wolverines may be rare, but I don't think 'shy' fits a critter that even a grizzly bear doesn't want to mess with.

The mounted red-tailed hawk and wolverine, sporting a hat and clenching a cigarette between his teeth....
Why do I get the feeling they would have been okay if it had been a human smoker hanging up there with a cigarette between his teeth?

NC, smokers are even more endangered than wolverines.

Funny the writer didn't mention the wolverine was holding a beer.

Hugh Jackman, we hardly knew ye.

coscolo ... I agree ... "shy" does not belong even in the same Area Code as "wolverine" ...

Except ... mebbe there's a shy co-ed sumwhere on the U. Michigan campus ...

Otherwise, nope ...
