I hate it when they move the seat.

I could have used a lot more footage of the snake and a lot less of that Channel 4 anchorman. Back in the seventies, we used to talk about Chicago TV newsmen as having a $40 haircut on a $2 head ... of course, today, the haircut would cost more than that.

It sounds more like the car wash employees startled the snake, which was just minding its own business. If the car had been sitting for a while, mice might have moved in, attracting it. I'd rather have a nonpoisonous snake in my car than mice.

I agree the snake was probably just minding his own business but I don't want him or the mice in my car. I don't care how friendly they are. A few years ago there was a van next to me at a stoplight. I couldn't help but notice there was a rattlesnake slithering along the side of his van. Probably trying to get in the open window. He was dangling his arm out of the window and had no idea there was a snake coming towards him. All of us at the light saw it at the same time so we started blowing our horns and yelling. He showed his gratitude by giving us a one finger salute. Fortunately a policeman saw it too and pulled him over when the light turned green. He made the man get out of the car on the passenger side and when he finally saw the snake, and realized why we were all blowing our horns at him, he fainted. I would have had a heart attack.

You just can't be nice to some people, cindy. Next time you'll let it bite the guy.
Sounds like the employee ran away screaming like a little girl, which I bet had the rest of the staff ROTFL.

In much of the US, there is an easy and quick way to tell if a snake is venomous.
Just pick it up and take a close look at the eyes. If it has vertical pupils, cat eyes, then you probably shouldn't have picked it up, you idiot.

That same advice applies to picking things up in bars too.

*SMACKS* clankie.
Steve, I look at a snake like I would a gun. Always assume it's loaded and dangerous.
