Oscars are awesome fish. They try to eat anything that falls in, or gets too close. A friend used to feed his oscar pizza. And goldfish. And piranhas.

My brother had oscars and grew guppies in a separate tank to feed them. He'd drop a guppy in the tank and the oscar would appear not to notice. Suddenly the guppy would be gone and the oscar was where the guppy used to be. I swore the thing could teleport.
I'm with wiredog. Drop a couple oscars in the Amazon and they'll take care of that piranha problem in no time.

It'd be cooler if they gave out these Oscars instead of that stiff golden statue....Of course Hollywood celebs would be up in arms, or maybe in Oscars, if they did...

On th web they've animated hypothetical animal fights. I've seen Lion versus Tiger (Lion won), Walruss versus Polar Bear (Walrus won), Great White versus Saltwater Crocodile (Great White won)....but I never expected to see Cat versus big Goldfish and Goldfish winning......

This would explain those cats that seem to be lacking in the nose area.
