There seems to be a lot of drinking in Flathead County.

8:26 a.m. A man on Smith Lake Road reported that his truck was missing and he had found blood on the walls inside his home. He later canceled his report and confessed to regretting the amount of alcohol he had consumed the night prior.

I'm with billinbossier on this one. In our area, we'd get a nice little note to appear in front of a judge for filing a false report.
I'll let someone else bring up the shaggy dog story.

How exactly does the Flathead Co. crime blotter differ from an episode of RENO 911 ? They appear about the same to me.

LeDud ... it's a bit colder, on average, for Flathead County, compared to Reno ... which might explain their level of alcohol consumption ...

2:57 p.m. Someone in Evergreen reported that a knife-wielding, intoxicated man was running in his underwear.
C'mon, is Flathead really a secret Hollywood "redneck"
or "reality" TV show "laboratory"?
Because the above does sound like episodes of Married With Children, and My Name Is Earl, and even an old Swift Justice with Nancy Grace.

I still want to know how 'he' got into 'his' underwear.

Ok, is it "Flathead" or "Fathead"?

If this had happened in the south grits would have been involved.

NC,
If it had happened in West VA, sheep would have been involved.

Has anyone ever called 911 and reported being "really happy" about the amount of alcohol he had consumed the night prior?
Not that I'm against drinking. But the morning after does have something of a reputation.

Steve - if they did, it would unquestionably be in Flathead county. And they'd want to chat about cows and horses while they were at it.

Teens shoot man with blowgun dart. It's a jungle in Flathead County.

Does this:
"8:26 a.m. A man on Smith Lake Road reported that his truck was missing and he had found blood on the walls inside his home. He later canceled his report and confessed to regretting the amount of alcohol he had consumed the night prior."
Have anything to do with this:
"2:57 p.m. Someone in Evergreen reported that a knife-wielding, intoxicated man was running in his underwear."
Discuss.
