An official says four people got stuck in a Kalamazoo parking ramp elevator for about an hour because they apparently were jumping up and down.

"Hey! Let's have sum fun! I know how to get us trapped in an elevator!"

alcohol involved??? college students?

Thank you for not commenting on the call letters of the TV station.

The new "trend", Elevator Jumping?

Certainly not as dangerous as bungee jumping, but
with its own unique hazards....

Makes me wonder whatever happened to planking?

If the elevator's rockin' don't come a knockin'

Is this the same Kalamazoo parking garage where the guy made a 'deposit' last week? I'm petrified of elevators since I got stuck in one several years ago. If I get in another one and somebody starts jumping up and down, I'm going to break their legs.

o'b's ... noted the call letters ... din't even connect (!) on the concept 'til y'all mentioned it ... good catch!

There is no reason to be jumping up and down in Kalamazoo -- none -- unless you've just gotten the news that you've been cleared to leave.

cindy, that happened to us once in Rome. We were staying at a pensione which had a VERY small elevator. This (insert your own adjective for 'fat moron') Spanish guy and his wife pushed on even though it was a tight fit. The doors closed and then...nothing, stuck.

So the idiot started JUMPING UP AND DOWN.

I mean, WTFBBQ?!

Luckily they got the doors open and I always walked up after that.

And yes, Kalamazoo Elevator Jumpers WBAGNFA Nic Cage movie.

Because parking ramp elevators are so exciting?
