I hate to get all serious, but it sounds like this could be used against other mosquito borne diseases like malaria.

Well, we imported love bugs to combat mosquitos and kudzu to combat soil erosion. I say let's infect those pesky insects with this parasite and hang the possible side effects. What could possibly go wrong?
