EMAIL FROM SOMEBODY WHO APPARENTLY HAS CONFUSED THIS BLOG WITH SOMEBODY WHO WOULD KNOW WHO 'RIHANNA' IS, AND WHAT THE 'V FESTIVAL' IS

Editors—

After an appearance at the V Festival, there has been speculation as to whether or not Rihanna had any plastic surgery procedures after a scar was detected under her chin. Did she go under the knife? Ask the experts.

I work with several top plastic surgeons in the country that can provide commentary. Please let me know if you are interested.

Best,

Ghazal

Maybe you can contact these people to find who or what created Snooki and what we can do to get rid of her.

I've heard of Rihanna. But I've never heard of any plastic surgery on her. You get some strange emails, Dave.

I think the "V Festival" had something to do with lizard aliens invading LA and stealing its Vital Kardashian Supplies, or something.

Is "Ghazal" any relation to Cher? Snooki? GaGa?

If not, who cares.

Vital Kardashian Supplies is (not surprisingly) an oxymoron.

Dave,

You need to set up a parameter around your in box. Just sayin'.

i thought a rihanna was one of those fish that could eat a cow in a minute, you know, or a whole hot dog in one bite kind of thing. a snook is a fish too, you know.

Close, mudstuffin, really close. I think though a snook is a person who can get fooled easily.

So Ghazal gets paid to provide "experts" to comment on whether or not some flavor-of-the-month singer/celebrity has had plastic surgery and provide said experts to the newspaper editors....so they can feature this "story" in their paper?

The country is going to hell in a handbasket, and this is news?

*ends rant*

When did Dave become a newspaper editor?

Dave-

The V Festival is held in England sometime around the end of the month. It is sponsored by Virgin Media.

She wouldn't be confusing you as being a virgin, right!?

Someone with no ad budget is trying to generate "buzz" for their event/band/whatever. They spam everybody in the world, to try to get people started talking about it. You fell for it, and gave them some free publicity. Hook, line, sinker.

Last week I got an email in my personal account from someone asking for my price list on brass fittings for historical ships. I wrote back that I did not have any in stock, which quite technically was accurate.

How do I get on these email lists? I'd love to have people telling me that sort of thing, for free, on a "push" basis. As it is now, I have to go to all the hassle of reading this blog to find out stuff like that. Jeez.
