Lady Gaga's Meat Dress Turned Into Jerky for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

I thought it was awfully jerky to begin with.

I don't know that I've ever heard her "music". Of course, she's not my generation.
But she seems to me to be the French fashion designer of the music world. "Look at me! See how I abuse my model, me?"

you meant YUK, not YUM, right?

I don't understand why this woman is popular. Of course I listen to good music on the radio aka 'Classic Rock' so I've never heard any of her songs. I did see her on an interview and she was extremely weird.

"Is this teriaki, or did she wear this after one of her shows?"

I've heard her stuff....very derivative, nothing new. Hence the need for shock appeal. Hopefully she'll pass quickly, like a bad burrito.

She's actually a classically trained pianist, she writes her own stuff, and if you hear her sing just by herself with a piano it's obvious there's some talent there. The outfits and the glitz and the fashion are a big part of her image, but I think she'll probably be around for a while.

Wouldn't that make it shrink? Will they sell this in the local 7/11 next to the red man?

Like a few other bloggits I find it a bit offensive that her dress is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before a number of great Rock and Roll bands. It was a publicity stunt and a bad one at that. Put her down as a footnote to history as someone with little taste.
