SPANISH CULTURAL UPDATE
A popular traditional dish here is paella, or "seafoods of the sea," which features shrimp that still have their eyeballs. Here's one -- his name is Paco -- looking at me with an expression that says, "What kind of monster are you?
There are many great works of art in Spain, including this famous painting by the famous painter Picasso, titled "No Se Permite El Perro Hacer Whiz-o Aqui."

Oh my God! He
killed Kennyate Paco!Posted by: wiredog | June 20, 2011 at 09:44 AM
Good one wiredog. I can't eat anything that is looking at me either. What are the black things? Beans maybe?

The black things are mussel shells, made famous by Claude Van Damme, the Mussel from Brussels.

Eat the shrimp. You're top of the food chain...at least in a restaurant.
Did judi fire herself?

For some reason, I thought paella was generally landfood.

The rice looks tasty. Do they have McDonald's in Spain?
Posted by: nursecindy | June 20, 2011 at 01:07 PM

Dave, because I like you, I looked up McDonald's in Madrid. They have several but after looking up the translated reviews, which were translated by Google, I'm not sure I would eat at any of them. The last review say's something about lot's of tail. If you cannot get Google to translate for you this is an example of one of the reviews. btw, RIP Juniper.

Perro Poopies.
I lived in Madrid for 2 years. They had 4 rush hours as they closed their shops in the afternoon for siesta.
They drove around in cars called Seats(Pronounced SEE OTTS) with the WHOLE fricken family inside Tios Abuelas etc). Seat in Spanish means garbage can with the lid for the hood.
But they re the kindest sweetest people you will find. If you even try to talk Spanish they help you and are happy that you are trying. In France on the other hand, if you try to speak French they look at you as though you just emitted a noxious gas in their face.

OK, I've seen the Spanish, thanks to Dave, but how does one pronounce "Whiz-o" in English? "Ouiso"?
Posted by: Steve | June 20, 2011 at 06:52 PM
Dave -- you had to go to Spain for paella? There is arroz in Spanish Harlem.

YA KNOW:
Ya know if NO ONE clicks on the websites of these site pests, they would go away for lack of business.
All it takes is ONE person to keep these pests around here.
