WARNING on that link - BM is mentioned...I used to play, but the people in the next hotel room over kept complaining that someone was torturing a cat.

China is the largest manufacturer and exporter of accordions in the world.

Doesn't that put them in violation of the Geneva Convention?

Quote of the day "Barry Manilow also plays the accordion."

My ex had an *electric* accordion. BOO YAH !

He never played it for me.

Might be because when I saw where he hid it in the garage and asked what it was, I bust out laughing so hard, I had to sit down.

I am already aware of accordions. I'm also aware of the fact that I don't like them.

"A gentleman is someone who can play the accordian but doesn't."

- unknown.

Bagpipes first screaming cousin.

I tune in to Univision every once in a while.
Apparently, the accordian is the national instrument of Mexico.
It doesn't sound one bit better in Spanish.

There is nothing weirder than Mexican "hip-hop" with an accordion and a tuba. Seriously.

unless, Spiny, you add a goat. Then you have a chupacabracordionista.

Yeah, but they sure do seem to be having fun.
I would, too, if I were surrounded by good looking young ladies with big...accordians.

Damn, I missed them at the Stockton Asparagus Festival in 2006....
