Cops in Riviera Beach say Louis Lorensen loaded a supermarket's motorized shopping cart with meat on Dec. 12, then ran over a 4-year-old child while attempting to make a low-speed getaway.

When an officer told Lorensen he was going to be placed under arrest, the suspected cart thief allegedly challenged him to fisticuffs.

"I ain't no punk, and I ain't going down without a fight," he told the officer, according to the police report.

The suspect then allegedly tried to punch the officer and later threatened, "When you take these cuffs off, I'm going to punch you in the face."

Lemme guess, alcohol was involved?
