YOUR PERUVIAN POLITICAL UPDATE

Foes of a small-town mayor in Peru say they have dug up the skull of his late father and won't give it back unless he drops out of next month's election.

JEEZ! even politicians in Chicago don't stoop that low.

however, the "bones strewn around the cemetary" part
does have a vaugely Chi-town hint to it.

Castro said Thursday that the theft violates a law against "offending the memory of the dead," punishable by two years in prison.

That is a great law!

Somebody should knock the thieves skulls together for doing this. On the other hand his dad really won't be using it anymore.

Alas, poor Juan....

Nope; doesn't scan.

Aw, why can't they just Lima-lone?

When digging up dirt doesn't work.

A new song...

HEY MUCHACHO
GET THE MESSAGE YO

YOU DROP OR NO POP
HIS BONES WE'LL PULVARIZE
CAUSE DIS ELECTION WE PRIVATIZE

HEY MUCHACHO
WHICH WAY YA GONNA GO

GIVE UP YOUR MAYORAL RUN
OR NEXT TIME WE DIG UP MUM
AND WASH HER SKULL IN RUM

HEY MUCHACHO...

*snork*

In Chicago, the concern would be that this might prevent his dad from voting.

The skull thieves wanted to make certain that the opposition candidate, the incumbent mayor, does not "pull a head" in the upcoming election.

*snork* @ Meanie.

In the meantime, the thieves are taking his dad bowling.

Send these guys to Washington!
