I hope Bob teaches the self-Heimlich, which can come in handy sometimes.

Fortunately, her friend was choking on a Krabby Patty.

When her friend starting choking she lunged,
stuck her fist in her gut and then plunged.
It worked on Squidward,
so with lesson transfered,
She made sure the gum was expunged.

Strange how padraig and bonmot know so much about Sponge Bob.

Spongebob was a favorite with the Food Safety Branch in the Kentucky Cabinet for Health Services. Grown-up (supposedly) middle-aged men would sit around during meeting breaks and discuss the plot of the latest episodes.
Patrick was greatly admired.

cindy, Spongebob is what I do since I gave up drugs. Not so sure it's an improvement, psychological well-being-wise.

I watched a couple of episodes of SpongeBob once with my step niece. SpongeBob acted like a complete brat in both episodes. He needed a looooong time out. Drove me up the wall. Never watched it again. But some of the Disney and Nick shows are kind of fun.
