While horse lovers were happy anti-dropping campaigner Charlie Smellie was not.

This has to be an April Fool's joke, right?

Special delivery for "Charlie Smellie"...

Smellie? Really. Really? Har.

Hammie beat me to it.

While horse lovers were happy anti-dropping campaigner Charlie Smellie was not

...so Smellie's the smell-er, not the smell-ee

We could send it to Washington...

just watch where you step . ..

So Smellie's really the one who's "browned off"

what exactly does "browned off" mean?

Is that a hobbit term?

I'll come out of the closet. I LIKE horse manure. Its good in the vegetable garden and doesn't smell bad. There I feel better.

They tried to get shed of manure,
Cuz it soiled the city's grandeur.
But for old Charlie Smellie
with crap on his Wellie,
the city would give him no cure.

A Kerikeri city counsel meeting.

Requiring you to clean up after your animals seems like common decency to me. I clean ip after my fish. You clean up after your horse

Smellie and horses ass I think are natural partners.

What a crock of submissions.

Carriage horses in Charleston have a kind of Diaper thing that hangs behind the horse. Dropping mostly don't reach the road. Maybe they should try that.
