I dunno, the boreholes I've had to work with weren't especially deep. Generally speaking their coffee cups were deeper than they were.

Another unexpected discovery was the large quantity of .. gas, with the mud flowing out of the hole described as "boiling" with [gas]
Reminds me of the bean burrito and tequila diet plan back in college.
