If you're flying out of O'Hare this morning, be prepared to stand on your head, because the departure information is upside-down. We assume this is intended to thwart terrorists.

Dave, I hope that your plane will be flying right side up!

This must be for flights to Australia.

me thinks dave is posting from flat out on his back on the terminal floor.

So, do they downdate the information every minute or two?

Likely a consequence of global warming.

Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit Antivert™.

It's the wind, Dave.

They've just hired an Aussie company to perform their computer maintenance.

This is to make it easier of the inebriated pilots to understand.

oops...sorry trustf8. Didn't see ya upside down there ;0P

crossgirl, you may have a point. mebbe Dave had a few too many fruity martinis at the airport lounge.

I'll take upside down over blank any day.

.... or cancelled

It's O'Hare. The wind blew it over.

I'm guessing it's something to do with the temperature change. It was in the mid-30s on Wednesday, and it barely hit 10 yesterday. That could cause, you know, computer problems or something.

Or else it's O'Hare and everything else has already gone wrong once.

FYI, Dave, if you give yourself exposure to that sign long enough, your brain will begin to invert the image automatically.
The problem is that it will take a while to work and you'll probably be arrested by then.
We know how much the TSA love you.

Librarians and teachers learn to read upside down. Math upside down gets a bit tough, but still works.

Spies are taught to read upside down.

Maybe O'Hare was taken over by ninjas.

OF COURSE you don't see any . . .

This is the logical response to the recent compromise of sensitive TSA screening procedures on the web.

Err... I mean, "Manage."

Just so the planes are still right side up.
