and i thought they had all this crazy traffic out there ...

Just speed up your pirate car, come up on the port, fire a broadside and prepare for semi-frigate boarding.

That photo looks like it was snapped from the driver's side. Remember, two hands on the wheel and let's be safe out there, valuable guys.

Mobile Bimbo. The inspiration for the Dominatrix Van.

Me no Alamo!

Looks windy.

I am amused that I can read the hood of the car from that vantage point.

Where's our Craig in a kilt picture???

Seriously ? No traffic ??? You must be down behind the Orange Curtain - that's not the Santa Ana Freeway WE know and despise.

This does look like it was taken from the drivers side of the van which means one of two things. 1. Ridley finally let Dave drive 2.Dave was leaning over Ridley's shoulder from the back seat and took the picture. I'm hoping it was the second one.

Dave and Ridley following a bimbo. Nothing wrong with that.

Apparently, my delivery is going to be late.

Bimbos on Wheels. The latest service for shut-ins.

Ahh, I miss fresh bimbos. They say the best come from California.

Twin Cities Bloglits! Doesn't anyone else have the poor judgment plan to go on Thursday??? Tashnicp at yahoo

Truckin', got to strumpetin’.
Keep truckin', look, a hoo-ha van!
Together, more or less they’re fine
Must-see truckin', oh!

Payload of bimbos and glowing red light on the highway
Chicago, New York, Petaluma – hey, they’re goin’ my way!
Your typical fantasy found in a typical wet dream
Pull over and see if the register rings.

Portland, got a quiet scene,
DC, Leetie’s still the queen,
Naperville, where the squirrels are mean,
They just won't let you be.

Most of the trucks that you pass on the road reek of diesel,
Much of the time they're blockin’ your passage to home.
This one is perfumed and keeps the pirates from goin'
Into the left lane and down on the road all alone.

Truckin', yes, the hoo-ha van
Once told me "You've got to pay a grand"
Sometimes the bucks ain't worth it to have if you don't lay'em down.

Sometimes the light's are flashin' ‘round me
Stationhouse at a quarter to three.
Lately it occurs to me,
What a long, strange trip it's been.

*stands up and lights lighter for Grateful Meanie*
or
Meanie the Dead
or
Grateful Meanie the Blue Dead
or
something ...

Blue Grateful the Dead.

Standing ovation.

*clap* *clap* *clap*
for Meanie the Dead Blue.

Another grateful *snork* for The Dead Blue Meanie!

*Groupies wanted .....*

Bravo, mtb, but I ain't gonna grope ya.

I presume that's because your hands are full already, bon.

BTW, could it be mere coincidence that "bonmot" anagrams to "O no mtb"?

*Belated SNORK! @ wiredog's entirely appropriate socially diseased applause*

Tash, I'm coming to TC's but not till Friday Night.
Gonna miss it.

Dave if stop in Des Moines I some left over marker for you.

linky thingy

Bimbo! That happens to be my dog's name (she came with it, and at 4.5 yrs was too familiar with it to give it up easily). We have been trying to get a picture of those trucks for ages. She will be so proud when I show it to her.

I don't think I've seen the truck, but I've seen the brand name in local stores -- it's a Mexican bakery. "Bimbo" doesn't mean the same thing there. (About time we got a brand name to laugh about; they've been laughing over the Chevy No Va for how long now?)

Steely Dan: Here come those Santa Ana Winds again...

Bimbo is also a sponsor of a major Mexican soccer team. Chivas maybe? I don't follow Mexican soccer, but I see their jerseys all over Houston.

Google tells me it's Club America.

So Club America is sponsored by Bimbo. Perfect.

Bimbo is indeed a Mexican bakery conglomerate. it bought out Geo Weston bakeries sometime in the past couple of years and owns these brands you know

http://www.gwbakeries.com/brands.cfm

i have heard that Bimbo is also the private label bread (Great Value) supplier to many Wal Mart Supercenters in the west.

And here I thought it was a truck full of blondes.

I have to agree with telecomdropout; there is way too little traffic for the Santa Ana freeway. On the other hand, the crapcam does an excellent job of rendering the smog.

unless Mrs Blog says there is.

I expect some green and refreshing photographs. It reminds me the problem of dust and pollution in the air, we breath in.
