A happy shrimp? Really?

Dave's at the MMA* !

I could be there in 5 minutes

(mall of america)

Chris, I think we're going to need a bigger bottle. Also, how can those people in the food court sit there and not be looking at Dave Barry having his picture made with a giant shrimp? Not easily impressed in Minnesota are they?

Also, Land of the Oxymoron.

They have shrimp in Minnesota???

"At Bubba Gump's they make me wear a shramp costume - shramp shoes - shramp hat - shramp apron shramp button - shramp gloves - "

I don't have a bigger bottle.
We could go Asian instead.

What are you wearing under there?

In case everyone's done with the other thread, updated photos here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/tashnicp/

Luckily, you missed the giant lutefisk.

Land of the Giant Shrimp?

thats what she (mrs blog) said..wakka wakka

Gee, whenever I get shrimp, they've already pulled off the apron and the hat.

Hey DPC, that's not Asian, that's what we gringos here in South Florida call a Pay-ella! Rice and schrimps, and chicken and olives and them red squiggley things, and most of the rest of the fridge.

Mmmmmmm...good stuff!

DPC, that's a giant paella, which is a Spanish delicacy.

Bravo, Tash, Master of the Squirrelizer!

Tash's link. Those pictures are great. I love the squirrels.

Nice blue pants Dave.

Wow, what a small world...I took a picture of my nephew posing with that same Bubba Gump at the Mall of America back in July. Of course, my nephew is all of 3 years old!

bummer. i'm kosher.. (not)

Maybe Mississippi shrimp get so big by swimming up from the gulf?

Where's the shrimp's other hand...er..claw??

Thanks MTB and nc!

That's no shrimp, that's a Sea Monkey!

cheryl, you are so right! Cue Charlton Heston shouting, "Bubba Gump Shrimp is sea monkeys. SEA MONKEYS!!!!!!!!

Yes, I know it was really a paella. But is was the first result for an image search on "giant wok", which seemed appropriate at the time.

I thought it was a good image Chris. Thank you but I think it's spelled r*o*c*k. I'm just saying.

Yikes, Tash, are Dave and Ridley costumed as cross-dressing pirates on the screen?

Watch out for the shop with the giant bearded clam!!

chaz, that's the Jumbo Shrimp, one of George Carlin's oxymorons.

Dave may be smiling, but he is probably plotting an act of political sabotage. If you click on the photo, you will see it actually includes a campaign worker on the right, wearing a Gump for President t-shirt.

My guess is Dave will try to lure him into a steamer.

Tash, love ya, but get the kilts off the squirrels. We are no match for Craig.

Hee hee, I did those before I saw your "always commando" line, Bernie

Just curious but where is Ridley? Did he take the picture or is he actually in the giant shrimp outfit? NTTAWWT.

no fair, cheryl stold my thought!!!!

CG Send me 12 upc's + 3.95 for shipping and handling and it can be your post.

Somehow I thought Fighting Pr0n Prawn would look more sophisticated. And Bold Abalone wouldn't be so pink.

I wonder if Dave is still shopping at the Victoria's Secret?

The Shrimp's apron is available from Victoria's Secret. $ 179.95.

I wonder if Dave's hearing is still intact, after the noise from Camp Snoopy..

I had a dream about Dave last night. All I can say is he eats a lot of french fries.

Minnesota shrimp?

Wouldn't that be James Lileks?
