MIAMI BOOK FAIR AND ORLANDO STRUMPDATE

If you are in Florida, you have no excuse not to be there. Or there. Or you are not allowed to be square. And let's face it, being as we're all geeks, nerds or dorks, "square" is pretty much the go-to status.

They're closing the ONLY bookstore we have in Shelby and that makes me sad. They just cannot compete with Amazon and Walmart although Walmart doesn't really have a good selection. I wonder if we had book fairs with author signings if it would have saved it?

I had a dream where " Tears for Fears " wrote a hit song about Orlando and Spike Lee sang it in a Quentin Tarantino movie. Don't ever eat leftover chicken salad before bedtime.

cspan is covering the book fair, or part of it anyway. but dave & ridley arent covered. some great authors tho.

I couldn't make the Book Fair this year. I'm sure it's been great (except for not having the RBR's playing).

Too much to do at home...ack!! Btw..it's such a gorgeous day here in Miami!!!
