(Having driven in Italy, the drivers usually honk right before they cut you off, swerve, change lanes, run lights, and throw cigarette butts on your car.)

This guy would love Houston rush hour traffic. He'd never be noticed around some of the clowns I had to avoid when I worked up there.

I saw something happen here the other day that I'll bet never happens in Miami or Atlanta. I was sitting at a stop light and noticed that a car coming from the other direction wanted to turn left but we were blocking the drive he wanted to turn into. We all automatically backed up a little so that he could make his left turn. Ever happen in Miami? btw, we all waved at each other when we did it. Small town life. You cannot beat it.

He probably just got approved for a Florida driver's license and was really itching to try it out.

I saw that this morning and was going to send it with a very similar heading, but I figured all you guys would have beat me to it so didn't bother.
This could never happen in New York, by the way (except possibly on next season's 24), because the chance of reaching 100 is pretty small.
Of course, in the middle of the night on the highway it could happen...

Well, who wouldn't be in a hurry to get to Florida? The Herald Hunt is next month, and it's a long drive from Switzerland.

I was passed this morning by a motorist clearly going to Florida. I gave him the universal salute for safe passage.

Well, if the police hadn't stopped him, he could have committed a lot more than 15 traffic violations! He was probably trying to get into the Guiness Book of World Records. Or, then again, maybe he had had too many Guiness' already.

We had a young man driving nearly 200 kph (that's about 150 mph) on a city street, here in Toronto, two days ago. He hit a SUV, sliced it in half and killed four passengers. He then refused to take a breathalyzer test. Guess how many violations HE racked up? And his lawyer is pressing for him to be released on bail...
