"Voodoo Correlations in Social Neuroscience" would be a really bizarre name for a rock band, but maybe ok for something techno. However, Dead Salmon would be a great name for a Seattle grunge group.

They have also shown a fright response when presented with cream cheese, or bagels.

The salmon probably had a haddock when it died.

*snork* at CJ
I'm trying to control myself from making a Palin comment here.

When an article has sentences like "Neural correlates of interspecies perspective taking in the post-mortem Atlantic Salmon", and then follows it up with metric stuff I kind of zone out. I'm willing to bet they read their scientific stuff to the salmon and they bored them to death.

Posted by: Blogchik | September 22, 2009 at 12:32 PM
Yes, blogchik. It's a new, mysterious TypePad thing.
They just keep getting weirder.

The stimulation of dead fish brains when shown human social interactions begins to explain the popularity of Paris Hilton.

Blogchik mine reminds me of the Wachovia Bank logo. Blue with white squiggles. Which is strange because I bank elsewhere.

Reportedly, FOX has hired the salmon to write the new season of "24."

Cindy, you are a nurse. Isn't it your job to read boring medical studies?

I think it is a slinky eating itself. Only Typepad knows why.

Kicks Elon and bot. I do have to read lots of boring medical things Elon but mainly I just walk around, pat people on the head, and ask them what I can do to make them feel better.

These guys should get their own show, Fish Whisperers. Of course, they'll have to work for scale...
Posted by: Lairbo | September 22, 2009 at 02:48 PM
Sorry about that. I guess that is Typepad's revenge on me for mocking their logo.
