IT'S HARD TO COOPERATE WITH A BULLET IN YOUR THIGH

NEW YORK – Kiefer Sutherland's legal troubles for allegedly head-butting a fashion designer in a New York City nightclub are over.

The Manhattan district attorney's spokeswoman said Tuesday that misdemeanor assault charges against the actor are being dropped because the alleged victim wouldn't cooperate with prosecutors.

(Thanks to RussellMc and Jeff Meyerson. And nursecindy.)

Because if there's anything we've learned about the media, it's that they don't give people any grief over "alleged incidents". Yep, Mr. Sutherland's troubles are over for good!

That's what happens when you mess with Jack Bauer!

That's because said 'alleged victim' got a big cash payoff, allegedly.

I thought the same thing Jeff. I'm sure it wasn't Keifer's heartfelt apology that made him drop all charges and forgive him. Anybody else notice the guy he headbutted was named Jack?

Clearly the guy watches 24. Maybe we should invite him to blog with us!

"I want to apologize. NOW!!!"

*all the while staring at the alleged victim with cold, cold eyes that say, "I know where you live. You do NOT want this to go any further!..."*

Clearly the guy watches 24. Maybe we should invite him to blog with us!

Great idea, Diva!

Is this going to end up like the Chinese subplot and come back to annoy us every few hours for the next three years?

I just hope next season that Chloe has that dumb bandaid off her neck. That bothered me on every show.

Next season, Chloe has to find a reason to headbutt Jack. We already have 2,038 reasons to headbutt the writers.
