BUT CHOPPING OFF THEIR HANDS IS STILL PERMITTED

China bans electric shock therapy for internet addicts

(Thanks to Warren Anderson and Siouxie)

Well, spare the voltage and spoil the surfer.

I highly approve of electroshock therapy for internet addicts. Ahem.

Good. That never worked with me. I'm still *twitch* OK.

Does that include defibrillators? How would ER personnel know if one is an addict? As Dr. House says, "everyone lies."

I'm picturing Jack Nicholson in the dentist's chair in "Little Shop of Horrors." "Oh my God! Don't stop now!"

Not that any of us is an internet addict (GNFARB), right Siouxie?

*twitch*

KEY QUOTE IN OHH SO MANY WAYS: "Some children suffered painful burns, but no parents had complained, according to the Chinese press."

What, "Yeah, shock the little bustard AGAIN!!" or "Where do I go to file a complaint? Tiananmen Square? Ummm, nevermind..."

I thought the internet was electro *twitch* shock therapy.

Define "addicted". Zap,twitch, OW!

*Stands on podium*

Hello, my name is Siouxie and I am a blogoholic.

*SMACKS* Allen for looking up her skirt.

It was worth it...*twitch*

"Electroshock only SOUNDS scary..."

NurseCindy? Just where do you and Siouxie plan on placing that electrode? It looks suspiciously like a cattle prOOOOOOOOW!

Shocking. Just shocking. Now I can go work for that new electric co-op, "Rock the Volt".

Sorry, I have a hard time keeping up with current events...

I'm a little wired tonight? Amp'd up, even?

As the electrician said: Ohm my god!

Good ones Pirateboy! Siouxie and I prefer not to divulge the location of the electrodes.
