you can't judge a book-ie by his cover.

There was one where I chose number two. I got it wrong. It was number two.

Some of the ones charged with obstructing and officer were easy to spot. They had bandaids on their faces. I looked at 50 of them and got about 40% correct.

Woo hooo!! I've matched 10 outta 22. Not bad!

Ummm, about 14% --- make me a juror, 'cause I can tell who's guilty just by looking at them.

I did NOT sign that release!
(Belmont Stakes soon; Calvin Borrel is back on Mine That Bird [Rachel Alexandra is not running]; Borrel could win a triple crown (my Mom's point), on different horses!)
((! ))!

Thanks CJ. I'd forgotten about it. Hope that Borrel wins.

Shoot! Summer Bird won the Belmont. Mind That Bird came in third. Of course all the sportcasters are telling how they would have won the race. Most of them probably don't know one end of a horse from the other.

That was actually a strange race; cg and I watched it with the sound down, and it seemed to me that the dapple horse ran the rail up front, from the start. Mine That Bird closed fast, as I expected, but both Dunkirk and Summer Bird would. not. give. up. That was unusual to watch, given such a long race. In the future, I'll be looking for strong horses coming out of the lines of Dunkirk and Summer Bird; that was impressive!

Annie - Shhhhhhh! We said we'd never tell them....
Posted by: Punkin | June 06, 2009 at 09:08 PM
Well, ok...so I'm no good at telling who's actually being booked. But I'm great at identifying people who SHOULD be arrested.
Let's see: Spencer, Heidi, Barry Manilow...

Some of them just look guilty of something don't they Betsy?
CJ there was an inquiry on the race that the 2nd place winner cut off the 4th place winner. But it was resolved and standings held. Such a good win for Kent Desormeaux who rode Summer Bird. It was his first Belmont race.
