You know what "they" say; you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.

I just posted this on my Facebook page, a site where a lot of spoiled meat hangs out. The fresh meat keeps to themselves.

Aaaaaaaaaachooo!
Annie, get outta my head.

Unterhopft is a serious condition that should never be made fun of.

*tosses Marg a beer*
There ya go.
Posted by: Siouxie | January 07, 2009 at 12:00 PM
In French, that translates to "unconditional surrender".

Blue, my flesh surrendered years ago, and I'm not even French. *sigh*

Sorry, I can't go anywhere. I'm working on my bildschirmbraeune.

As a German article I read back in the 1990s put it,
Unser Way-of-Life im Mediabusiness ist hart, da muß man ein tougher Kerl sein. and then it went into well over 50% words that had come from English

I love how German words just get rammed together to form longer words. This site explains it a little, and contains a hilarious quote by Mark Twain about this linguistic quirk.
My favorite long German word (for self-evident reasons): Reinheitsgebot, which refers to the German beer purity law.
I will have to consult my German edition of the Dave Barry Guide To Guys for further information.

Der Blauer Showoff!
sorry about being in your head, Siouxie, but I thought it was ok, 'cuz there was plenty of room. ;)

..."unterhopft," meaning "underhopped," or in need of a beer, took third. We have our new favorite (favourite elsewhere) word for 2009. Beer me.

I guess we can't use 'spoiled meat' and 'wunder boner' in the same sentence then.
Posted by: Cheesewiz | January 07, 2009 at 12:38 PM
*tosses hassenpfeffer @ Annie*
That is my favorite German word.
Posted by: Siouxie | January 07, 2009 at 12:42 PM
One might merely be curious as to how they missed rating of Wunderboner in their study ...

Posted by: Annie Where-but-here | January 07, 2009 at 02:18 PM
globenknockers = Punkin's girls??
Posted by: Siouxie | January 07, 2009 at 02:19 PM
Annie--Gee, I usually pay extra for that!
Siouxie, in the dialect of German known as Hogan's Heroes-ish, globen just means "round"...

Gunter, glieben, glauten, globen!
