THIS ISN'T FUNNY, BUT...

...if you want to feel good, and you have a few minutes, and you're in a place where you can crank the speakers a little, watch this. Amazing.

(Thanks to Jeff Simon, drummer for George Thorogood & The Destroyers, whom I used to listen to at the Anvil Inn in Kennett Square, Pa., a million years ago, back when they were The Delaware Destroyers)

Very cool. But what were the Zuni's drumming to?

Those folks are way better than some "real" groups. Like ferinstance the Rock Bo...

Never mind.

Truly amazing! just WOW!

That gave me shivers up and down my spine, which in this case is a good thing.

That is an awesome piece. As a musician, I truly appreciate the level of work that went into that. Thanks, Dave.

Verrrrrrry nice. Thanks, Dave.

*Stands by speakers*

That was "way cool"! Thanks. And of course I immediately sent the link to a dozen people.

Yeah, I've been sending it all morning, Dave. Great stuff.

You can always hear great music in Lafayette Square, where the New Orleans scenes were filmed.

Well, that was very nice, butt I have a cold so recommend the Police and "Don't Stand So Close To Me."

Sweet video. Thanks.

Says here (perhaps accurately, perhaps not), that the Delaware Destroyers played the Anvil Inn in January, March, and August of 1978.

Off topic, but also sweet: My five-year-old son asked me the other day, and IANMTU, "Was Deltaware really the first state?"

Simply food for the soul....it moved my ground...

brought tears to my eyes. not that this is difficult :) but still.

Isn't Deltaware a line of clothing by Ms. Burke?

Sweet groove, Dave, sweet groove...

Amazing musicians, great song...thanks, Dave.

Me, too, Judi !

Especially this time of year ...

T.H.A.T was just sooo cool. Maybe they can do "Lean On Me" next.

*sigh*

~~~~~peaceful feeling~~~~~~
When they do "Louie Louie" and a bunch of dudes on ouds kick in from Afghanistan maybe we'll have something. Meanwhile, this ain't bad.
