When your investments have tanked, and you can't afford the good stuff anymore...try snail caviar.

I wonder if Weingarten would eat that?

...To finish, the eggs are treated with unrefined salt and 'a dash of rosemary essence'....
Maybe if they didn't put salt on the snails, they could harvest more.

Sadly, now that I've been hit with the big D, I have to stop and check to see whether caviar or snail slime has less sugar...

'Let your mouth experience the sensation of a walk in the forest after the rain, mushrooms and oak leaf flavours, the scent of humid moss peat,' it adds.
I remember that flavor! My boy scout troop was hiking and I tripped and ended face down in the dirt. It's not a "flavour" that I reminisce happily about, though, so I'll pass.

The French company uses the big grey snail - the 'gros gris'
That's French for "Ewwwww, gross!" SNORK@ Marg!

Snail caviar allows you to experience 'a delicate flavour' with 'surprising sensations', De Jaeger claims.
Not so 'surprising sensations' include nausea, projectile vomiting and being shunned by any friend you serve it to.

*bows head in thanks that my socioeconomic status and unsophisticated palate exclude the eating of snails, fish eggs, etc.*
what's for lunch?

The question that comes to mind is...why would someone even think to eat snail eggs?! Were they that bored or hungry...no spam or peanut butter in the pantry, no mac and cheese...no tuna or potato chip crumbs...fridge empty? Went outside...saw snails slimming their way through life...(light bulb flickers in demented twisted brain)..."hey...bet them their snail's eggs would taste pretty scrumptious!" Was someone not on their medications that day? Hmmmm?
