True story, creepy kids who lived next to my wife when she was a little girl thought it would be fun to drop their rat terrier into her rabbit hutch (5 bunnies). They were lucky to get the dog out alive, covered with scratches and bunny bites. Poor dog. Hope it got adopted out.

I had a cat a few years back who was quite a good mouser. One night I watched her corner a tiny field mouse that got up on its hind legs and fought back, repeatedly scratching my cat's nose with its little front claws. The cat eventually let the mouse get away to run under my buffet. She let it live there for a couple of weeks until I was able to shoo it outdoors.
Real Tom and Jerry stuff.
