Oooh! I want to be the FIRST to get a Saddam!

Will you settle for a Shaddam?
And I still say Dune was a GREAT movie ... !

Hmmm Fidel doesn't look too healthy.

The Gift Guide should be bursting, this year.
[Scott plays with dolls, neener!]

Are those by any chance bobblehead dolls? A Saddam bobblehead might actually be saleable, if it came with its own miniature noose.
Posted by: KJP | August 11, 2008 at 10:38 AM
Yep, CJ. First, you gotta unwrap a *lot* of firecrackers to fill 'em up and you *really* shouldn't be standing too close to the dolls when they go off. It's all in solidarity with the Beijing Olympics, though, because they invented gunpowder, right?

I personally would prefer the Fidel doll to be a voodoo doll. I've got a tiny machete that'll be perfect for it.
Posted by: Siouxie | August 11, 2008 at 10:42 AM
CJ, those are not dolls. They're action figures ... !
And here's another for your collection...

No Obama or McCain dolls?
Posted by: circuit7 | August 11, 2008 at 10:57 AM
Those look like they are those puppets that can punch if you look at the hands on them. For some reason, that makes more sense to me.

WHAT!? NO MAO!?

*thinks The Dave will bring a Fidel back, bets?*

Are these official Crap-Cam pictures, so as to not attract undue attention to the fact that Dave is giving us all these Chinese secrets?
Posted by: Kathybear | August 11, 2008 at 12:19 PM
I hope Sophie doesn't add any of those to her collection, except possibly SpiderMan.

That Spider Man figure should have been the EVIL Spider Man!
Posted by: Moon | August 11, 2008 at 02:16 PM
Not EXACTLY an action figure, but still, worth a look...
